Willkommen im Deutschen Klub

Welcome to your German Club Cairns: 100% owned and operated by members.

Members enjoy a range of activities and services: Skat group, Rummikub Tuesdays, Enzian Dance group, and games room access. We have a DVD and book library as well providing free access to German culture and language – and bar purchases earn loyalty points!

Open each Friday!

We open 5pm until 10:30pm every Friday thanks to our amazing team of volunteers – and we have German beers at the bar on tap as well as fully-imported bottles from Germany! Our restaurant switches up our menu each week offering a different main feature each week – along with Sausage (of course) and Veggo lasagne, chips, and our famous Pretzels.

Each Friday our restaurant turns out great traditional food, the German beers and schnapps flow at the bar – at prices designed to appeal to all. We feature all kinds of music weekly, our kids dancers present themed floorshows at special functions and we regularly feature food specialities from different regions.

Get up on the dance floor and join in the Oktoberfest party dances, old-style Schlager or your favourite and classic pop tunes.

We have a games room as well for kids big and small (both need supervision!)

Book in Oktoberfest 2024! Only TWO Saturdays!

Come to Oktoberfest at the German Club Cairns for a ripper time like no other!

Sip on authentic German tap and bottle beers, indulge in mouth-watering Pork Knuckle and bratwurst, and kick back to all the Oktoberfest music straight from the Wies’n! Get your mates together for a fair dinkum celebration of Bavarian culture right here in Cairns. Whether you’re a seasoned beer aficionado or just keen for a good time, Oktoberfest at the German Club is bonzer!
